Who we are
We help conscious companies tell their story in a meaningful way.
Mangrove is a woman-owned website design and development company with a diverse, talented team distributed around the globe. We've been building websites since 2009 that amplify the work of change-makers and conscious companies everywhere.
For us, success is helping conscious companies tell their story in a meaningful way. That's why we prioritize working with B Corps and other businesses that are making an impact with purpose-driven brands and technologies.
We deliver to every client a high-impact, customized website that's easy to update as business needs evolve. Before handing off a new or revamped site, we deliver thorough documentation and training to make management of the new technology smooth and effective.
Your website should be a catalyst for growth and success. Rely on us to tell your story with a beautiful, impactful site that will grow with you.
The next step is simple. We're just a hello away.
How we are using business as a force for good.
Mangrove Web became a Certified B Corp in 2016, and a legal Benefit Corporation in 2017, solidifying our commitment to using business as a force for good.
Diversity and representation matter.
Given the tech industry's well-known diversity gap, we are passionate about widening career opportunities for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, non-Black people of color, women, non-binary, and LGBTQ+. We believe that diverse teams create more thoughtful, impactful work.

Our Values.
Well-Being
We work to support our lives, not the other way around. While our work might be significant, it is only one part of our whole selves. We do our best creative and technology work when we are functioning optimally, so caring for our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs is essential. We do our best to prioritize rest, encourage time off, and support our team participating in activities away from those ubiquitous digital screens.
Empathy
We lead with compassion and empathy for ourselves and others. We assume that people are doing their best and direct our focus toward progress over perfection. Everyone stumbles as part of moving forward, and we all need a helping hand at times. As a Certified B Corp and a responsible business, we offer and ask for support without hesitation.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We celebrate our differences because they are powerful. We intentionally consider the experiences of the most marginalized people in the room and those who do not always have the privilege to be fully heard. We support undervalued and under-resourced people so they can realize more of their personal and professional potential. Understanding each other's backgrounds and perspectives strengthens us collectively and empowers us to achieve our mission.
Transparency and Accountability
We are committed to communicating directly, transparently, and often. Setting clear expectations and providing constructive criticism creates stronger relationships and supports accountability. We achieve our finest work when our partnerships and collaborations include mutual trust. We do our best to act and speak thoughtfully and respectfully, knowing that our actions have a ripple effect on our clients, partners, and team. We reliably show up for each other and our communities.
Exploration and Creativity
Curiosity and novelty fuel growth. We embrace a spirit that seeks new pathways to personal and professional development, learning from – and finding joy in – exploring fresh ideas and perspectives. We continually seek opportunities to apply creativity and open-mindedness to benefit our team and those we serve. We also have a public AI policy which outlines our responsible use of artificial intelligence within the organization and for our clients.
Partnership and Collaboration
We amplify the good work we see in the world by seeking clients and partners who share our values. These relationships support inspiring engagements that fulfill a sense of purpose, expand our capacity, and deliver impact. Learning from each other pushes all of us to succeed, especially in uncertain and complex times. And we actively support building an accessible web. Together, we can more effectively build a much more just, equitable and sustainable world.
Why We Love Mangroves.
Mangrove trees are nature's ultimate collaborators, and we're honored to share their name. Resilient and adaptive, they thrive where land meets water—filtering salt from the sea, protecting coastlines from storms, and creating fertile ground for thousands of species to flourish. We like to think of our work the same way—we build platforms that help our clients grow and succeed.
We first fell for mangroves in Panama and have since found them thriving across the globe—in Colombia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and Cuba. Their tangled root systems anchor shorelines and nurture life below the surface—crabs, shrimp, oysters, fish—while a lush canopy stretches above. They store up to 10 times more carbon than other forests, and ecologists consider them keystone species for the outsized role they play in keeping entire ecosystems healthy.
In our work, mangroves inspire us to stay versatile, rooted, and connected. They remind us that the most impactful work happens at the edges—where adaptability meets expertise and creative vision.
