Pure Strategies

Pure Strategies came to us with a site in need of a redesign. They required a more cohesive and contemporary framework for their current and prospective clients, team members, and community members.

Key goals included creating clear, intuitive navigation so visitors could effectively find relevant content and resources, highlighting the organization's strengths, services, and leadership as a pioneer in corporate sustainability, and restructuring the site for improved SEO.

They also needed a high-performing website with a creative and accessible design system that would grow with the organization over time.

We built a custom WordPress site using our latest Gutenberg template, giving Pure Strategies a modern and easy-to-update platform to replace their previous system. The new CMS provides an intuitive and seamless editing experience for their team.

The design is a major uplift from their previous site, with updated fonts, a refined color palette, and well-thought-out imagery to help communicate their sustainability goals. We enhanced their most-visited pages — clients, case studies, and staff — with improved design, content flow, and ease of navigation.

We implemented additional filters on archive pages for articles, webinars, and reports, allowing users to filter by service area. We also added filters to refine clients by sector, and integrated articles written by staff to their bios to enhance thought leadership.

Accessibility followed our standard process to ensure the site met Level A conformance, including high contrast text, descriptive alt text, proper heading hierarchy, and keyboard navigation. We also focused on minimizing energy use across the site.
